Prologue dames 2,5km > Le duel Justyna Kowalczyk/Marit Bjoergen est en place

Le duel entre Justyna Kowalczyk et Marit Bjoergen s'est mis en place dès la première étape. C'est paradoxalement en descente que la Polonaise a pris le meilleur sur la Norvégienne. Renseignée des chutes de nombreuses concurrentes, Marit Bjoergen est passée très prudemment dans une descente sinueuse très verglacée. Elle finit à 4 dixième de Justyna Kowalczyk.
Hanna Brodin prend la 3ème place à 4s des leaders.
Certaines filles comme la Finlandaise Lahteenmaki vont regretter de n'avoir pas été plus prudentes car elles auraient pu jouer la victoire aujourd'hui.

Les Françaises ont fait une bonne entrée en rentrant à quatre dans le spoints. Les deux Jurassiennes, Aurore Jean et Anouk Faivre Picon ont fait une course comparable passant en 16ème et 17ème positions à l'intermédiaire et terminant 19ème et 20ème à l'arrivée.

Laure Barthélémy est partie plus lentement regagnant une dizaine de places dans la seconde partie de la course pour finir meilleure Française à la 16ème place.

Mêm schéma de course pour Coraline Hugue terminant 23ème alors qu'elle ne pointait qu'à la 38ème place à l'intermédiaire.

Justyna Kowalczyk
“It was a good race today, normally I don’t feel good in these kinds of fast conditions but yeah, I’m pretty satisfied. My tactic was to not start too fast, as I normally have problems with the downhill and my legs were fresh, but I heard my downhill time was quite good and I think that’s the reason”.

Marit Björgen
“It’s a good start and it’s good to race again. I felt better in the end of the race, and I’m happy to be back on the Tour”.

Hanna Brodin
“I’m very happy, it was a good race and I had a good feeling. I got the times from my coaches who were good, but I mainly focused on skiing as fast as possible. It’s always hard to wait and see who the winner will be; I was a bit nervous in the finish area. I aim to race the entire Tour de Ski, but I have to take one day at the time and do my best”.
