Its great to have 90 World Cup victories. Its hard
to believe. I wasnt sure how I would feel today after
coming from altitude in Seiser Alm. After the Tour de Ski I
took a week of rest and then had good training before the Norwegian
Championships but I didnt race at my best. But it was
good at altitude and I am happy with my shape from todays

It was hard racing out there today. It was important to have
a quick start and stay out of trouble. I will stay here until
tomorrow and then go to Falun. I will race the sprint competition
and maybe there is a chance for the team sprint.
It was a great atmosphere here today in Ostersund. I live
just behind the stadium so it was a home race
for me. I have just tried to focus on each heat and not look
too far ahead. I know Falun is coming but for now I just wanted
to focus on today.

It is great to have another win this season. It was really
challenging today and it was important to race smart and stay
out of trouble. I always tried to stay near the front and
in the end it worked for me. I do not have a start position
yet in Falun but hopefully strong results this weekend will
give me a better chance.

I am from Drammen where we have a great atmosphere for sprint
competitions in the city. There is it 40,000 spectators but
the 10,000 here today had the same feeling. I felt this was
a good course for me and I am happy to have my first World
Cup podium. This is actually my first World Cup final. I am
Norwegian Champion this year but I have not much success on
World Cup so this is a great feeling.
I didnt think this course suited me too well. I almost
didnt quality this morning with just the 26th fastest
time. But I felt better as the day went and I was able to
move up into position each time. I have just come down from
altitude so I wasnt sure how I would feel. I will race
again tomorrow because I think its important to push
the body now to get ready fro Falun.
